About the site…

This site was made for the fun of owning one though I could use a blog where I can dump anything. Even though I already have a Livejournal, a personal site is more flexible that I can share a gallery of my artworks and maybe even a collection of articles I’ll write. I really find coding my own web layouts fun as well and I have more freedom to do it here.

Why the name…

My reputation as Sporky started when I spoofed my original username “gothidork” to “gothicspork”. Hey it rhymed and it was catchy so I stood by that pseudonym. It made me want to collect a certain type of cutlery and pretend that those can be used to rule the world. So a complex arose and it was sporky.
